Letters & mailings are thrown from the top of a large letter opening. The stately letter slot with dimensions 330mm x 35mm offers enough room, so that envelopes the C4 format can be received easily. Very spacious Filling our design mailbox, as well as the stable cylinder lock guarantee the safe keeping of the post several days.

Question on glass composition

You comment on breakage piqued my curiosity on the composition of wine glasses. could it be that the c&b glasses broke easily due to their being "glass" rather than mineral crystal? at crate and barrel, they sold "non-leaded" crystal. i asked the clerk what the difference was between non-lead crystal and plain glass. she didnt know, a web search showed that crystal was usually quartz or some other material besides regular glass-glass. which still leaves me the question, why lead?
btw, i have a pair of balloon glasses from sweden that are very durable. the stems actually flex a little
